Palestinian Rights Committee, 430th Meeting (AM)

The General Assembly’s Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People will meet today to hear an update on the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and briefings on the humanitarian situation. It will also elect a Bureau member and consider its draft 2026 annual report. The update will be provided by the Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine, with briefings by Michel Saad, Deputy Director and Officer-in-Charge of the Crisis Response Division of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, and Jehan Salim, National Coordinator of the Palestine Shelter Cluster, the latter participating via videoconference.
