The Ukrainian Foreign Minister said this at a joint press conference with his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, in Kyiv, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“There have been neither holidays nor pauses in Ukraine – we are fighting for our land and for a just peace. And now, I believe, we will see new momentum in peace efforts as this active political and diplomatic phase resumes in many world capitals,” the Minister said.
According to Sybiha, diplomacy must play an increasingly active role in peace efforts.
“It is unrealistic to achieve this without the involvement of the American side – these are the geopolitical realities,” Sybiha noted.
He recalled that President Volodymyr Zelensky had recently spoken with the American negotiating team and advised everyone to “watch the news.”
