According to Ukrinform, Budanov announced this on Facebook.
“Ukraine’s true friends are standing with us these days! I had the honor of speaking with General Keith Kellogg—a man of principle who deeply understands the challenges facing our country and continues to sincerely care for our people,” the Head of the Presidential Office emphasized.
According to him, the meeting included detailed discussions on the situation on the front lines, the current needs of Ukrainian soldiers, Russia’s ongoing terrorist shelling of civilian infrastructure, and the prospects for joint Ukrainian-American weapons production to strengthen defense capabilities in the long term.
Budanov thanked Kellogg for his unwavering stance, friendship, and continued support for Ukraine, and also expressed his gratitude to the American people for their solidarity and assistance.
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Kellogg in Kyiv on August 22.
