During the night of August 30, units of Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a number of important Russian facilities.
In particular, the Kirishi Oil Refinery in Kirishi, Leningrad Region, was hit, followed by a fire on the premises.

The facility has a capacity of approximately 20 million tonnes of crude oil per year. The refinery produces motor fuels, aviation fuel, diesel fuel, and other petroleum products.
The facility is involved in meeting the needs of the Russian Armed Forces.
In Millerovo, Rostov Region, a site used for the storage, preparation, and launch of attack UAVs was hit. A fire was reported.
In Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, the Yeysk airfield was hit, followed by a fire at the facility.
The extent of the damage is being assessed.
Operations against key enemy facilities are continuing.
As Ukrinform reported, drones attacked Russia's Leningrad Region during the night of August 30. Hits and a fire at an oil refinery in the city of Kirishi were reported. An explosion was also heard in the Bezhytskyi District of Bryansk.
