"Sky school bus" in SW China eases children's journey to school

As the new semester begins, some children in southwest China are taking a school bus ride unlike any other. A combination of cliffside elevators and a cable car has shortened the journey to school from more than three hours to around 30 minutes in Nizhuhe, Yunnan Province. Known as the "sky school bus," it is transforming daily life in the mountains.
