The preliminary results of the heterogeneity commissions for the Selective Process to fill vacant positions in technical and higher education courses at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) will be published this Friday, August 7, 2026.This stage is intended for self-declared black, brown, quilombola, and indigenous candidates.
The information can be verified on the website.ingresso.ifrs.edu.brIt is necessary to click on the name ofcampus(On the website homepage), access the "Unfilled Positions" section and then "Heteridentification - Invocation and Results". Candidates whose self-declaration is marked as "not confirmed" may appeal (review requests, inquiries) between August 8th and 9th. Appeals are made through the Pre-Enrollment system, and the system link will be available on the website.ingresso.ifrs.edu.br.
The final result of the heteroidentification will be disclosed on August 10th. It's important to remember that the approval (acceptance) of racial self-declaration by the commission does not guarantee enrollment, as all other steps outlined in the prospectus must be fulfilled. Those who do not have their self-declaration confirmed will be reclassified for universal access (quota 1).
