Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants, organizers and guests of the 5th International Festival of Circus Art “Without Borders”.
The message reads, in part:
”I would like to welcome you on the occasion of the opening of the 5th International Festival of Circus Art “Without Borders” at the Bolshoi St Petersburg State Circus — the legendary Ciniselli Circus.
I would like to note that in our country the circus enjoys the special love of audiences of different generations, while the Russian circus school is rightfully renowned for its rich history and remarkable traditions, as well as for its famous, world-wide known dynasties of talented artists. And therefore such vivid, extraordinary projects as your festival undoubtedly arouse the sincere, genuine interest of the public.
I am confident that the current creative forum, which has brought together representatives of various circus genres and disciplines from Russia and other countries, will be held at a high organizational and artistic level and will become a true celebration of mastery, daring and beauty“.
