Wind prone areas along I-580, US-395, and the eastern slopes of the Carson Range may gust up to 60 to 70 mph. * WHERE...For the Lake Wind Advisory, Washoe Lake. For the High Wind Watch, the Greater Reno-Carson City-Minden Area. * WHEN...For the Lake Wind Advisory, from 2 PM to 8 PM PDT Friday. For the High Wind Watch, from Saturday morning through late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
