For the following areas... Barataria Bay... Breton Sound... Chandeleur Sound... Coastal Waters from Boothville LA to Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River out 20 nm... Coastal waters from Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port Fourchon Louisiana from 20 to 60 NM... Coastal waters from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port Fourchon Louisiana out 20 NM... At 1034 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 nm west of Breton Sound to near Boothville to Pilottown, moving west at 20 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Boothville, Empire, Grand Isle, Pilottown, Barataria Bay, Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River, Breton Sound, Venice, and Port Sulphur.
