At 240 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Cherry Valley, or 10 miles southwest of Canajoharie, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Cobleskill, Middleburgh, Schoharie, Richmondville, Sharon Springs, Livingstonville, Central Bridge, Carlisle, Sharon, Seward, Esperance, Zeh Corners, Beekman Corners, West Richmondville, Huntersland, Warnerville, Engleville, Gardnersville, Becker Corners, and Shutts Corners. This includes Interstate 88 between exits 20 and 23.
