At 151 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Sardis, or 14 miles southwest of Hartselle, moving west at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Arley, Double Springs, Addison, Houston Recreational Area, Nesmith, Brushy Lake, Helicon, Inmanfield, Ashridge, Sardis, Corinth Rec Area, Moreland, Winston Free State Barn, Smith Lake, Houston, Hullett Branch, Clear Creek, Winston County Airport, Cane Creek, and Bull Branch.
