Russian strike on medical facility in Kherson kills doctor, injures nurse

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"A doctor has been killed as a result of a Russian strike on a medical facility in Kherson," the statement said.

According to the regional authorities, the victim was a 63-year-old man who sustained fatal injuries.

The Kherson City Military Administration reported that at around 16:00, Russian forces struck one of the city's healthcare facilities.

A 57-year-old nurse was injured in the attack. According to preliminary information, she suffered a blast injury and is receiving the necessary medical treatment.

Earlier on July 2, Russian forces used drones to attack civilians in the Kherson region, killing a 41-year-old man and injuring two women.
