At 448 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over George Payne State Park, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Batesville, George Payne State Park, Pope, Enid, Oakland, Courtland, Shuford, Asa, Eureka Springs, and Chapeltown. This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 226 and 248.
