At 445 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Plateau, or 16 miles east of Van Horn, moving southwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Plateau and Culberson County Airport. This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 144 and 166.
