The areas affected include... Duluth MN to Port Wing WI... Lake Superior west of a line from Saxon Harbor WI to Grand Portage MN beyond 5NM... Port Wing to Sand Island WI... Silver Bay Harbor to Two Harbors MN... Two Harbors to Duluth MN... At 747 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near French River to 18 nm west of Duluth Harbor, moving east at 20 knots. Locations impacted include... Two Harbors Protected Access Agate Bay, Superior Entry, Knife River Marina, McQuade Harbor, Barkers Island, Superior Harbor, Larsmont, Duluth Harbor, Duluth Lift Bridge Channel, Stoney Point, and French River.
