A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Nearshore Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Northerly Island... Open Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid Lake... At 744 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This thunderstorm was located near Montrose Harbor, moving northeast at 15 knots.
