Open Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid Lake... * Until 100 AM CDT. * At 1005 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Ohare Airport to 11 nm southwest of Aurora, moving northeast at 25 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Harrison-Dever Crib, Montrose Harbor, Wilmette Harbor, Belmont Harbor, Diversy Harbor, and DuSable Harbor.
