According to Ukrinform, Valentyn Mondryivskyi, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, announced this on Facebook.
The damaged facilities include ten kindergartens, ten schools, two extracurricular education centers, and one vocational education institution.
Most of the buildings had windows shattered and doors damaged by the blast wave. Some also sustained damage to their facades, roofs, interior premises, and children's playgrounds.
"The most important thing is that no children or education staff were injured during the attack. Specialists are currently inspecting all damaged buildings. Once the extent of the destruction has been assessed, the city will promptly begin the necessary restoration work to ensure the institutions are ready for the new school year," Mondryivskyi said.
