A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Lake Michigan Michigan City IN to St. Joseph MI 5 NM offshore to mid-line of lake.... Michigan City IN to New Buffalo MI... New Buffalo MI to St Joseph MI... At 139 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated scattered thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 23 nm east of Wilmette Harbor to 18 nm northwest of Michigan City to near Gary, moving northeast at 30 knots. Locations impacted include... New Buffalo, Michigan City, and St. Joseph.
