For the following areas... Nearshore and Open Waters from St Joseph to Whitehall MI... At 252 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 31 nm east of Wind Pt. to 27 nm west of St. Joseph Light to Indiana Harbor, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... South Haven Light, St. Joseph Light, Mona Lake Channel, Muskegon Light, Holland Light, and St. Joseph.
