A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... St. Marys River... Whitefish Bay... At 216 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Salt Point to 17 nm west of Naomikong Point, moving east at 10 knots. Though the actual storms are expected to remain over land, gusty winds from these storms could still reach the southern coastline of Whitefish Bay and the upper St Marys River. Locations impacted include... Naomikong Point, Point Iroquois, and Salt Point.
