At 549 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Harveys Lake, or 7 miles northwest of Wilkes-Barre, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Falls, Muhlenberg, Dunmore, Kingston, Nanticoke, Plains, Old Forge, and Pittston.
