A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Duluth MN to Port Wing WI... Lake Superior west of a line from Saxon Harbor WI to Grand Portage MN beyond 5NM... Silver Bay Harbor to Two Harbors MN... Two Harbors to Duluth MN... At 708 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 nm north of French River to near McQuade Harbor to Duluth Harbor, moving east at 20 knots.
