Vladimir Putin congratulated the residents of the Kaliningrad Region on the 80th anniversary of its establishment.
The message reads, in part:
“Russia’s westernmost region is rightly renowned for its history, the diversity and beauty of its natural landscapes, and the industriousness, generosity of spirit, and hospitality of its residents.
Today, the Kaliningrad Region enjoys considerable potential and offers a wide array of opportunities for attracting substantial investment. Large-scale projects are being successfully implemented across industry and agriculture, transport, construction and infrastructure, tourism, and the spa and resort sector. Crucially, I wish to emphasise that, alongside the launch of modern factories and high-tech production facilities, steadfast attention is paid to preserving the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the Amber Region, and to implementing vital educational, enlightenment, and creative initiatives. Very recently, the renowned Museum of the World Ocean was awarded the status of a particularly valuable cultural heritage site of the peoples of the Russian Federation.
I am confident that your energy, dedication, and sincere love for your native land will continue to help you fulfil your outlined plans.”
