SVRGLD The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southern Yuma County in northeastern Colorado... Northeastern Kit Carson County in east central Colorado... * Until 215 AM MDT. * At 131 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles north of Stratton, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Yuma and northeastern Kit Carson Counties, including the following locations... Joes, Hale, Kirk, and Idalia. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 409 and 450. Highway 385 between mile markers 179 and 216.
