At 643 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Barnyard, or 9 miles northeast of Barbourville, moving north at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Barbourville, Manchester, Artemus, Brightshade, Swan Lake, Barnyard, Salt Gum, Goose Rock, Erose, Jarvis, Blanche, Girdler, Jonsee, Herron, Rella, Ice Cliff, Avis, Park Valley, Cottongin, and Dewitt.
