A marine weather statement has been issued for the coastal waters of southeastern louisiana near and to the west of the southwest pass of the Mississippi River out 60 NM. At 741 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms capable of producing weak waterspouts across the coastal waters. These showers and storms are nearly stationary or drifting slowly east-southeastward.
