At 244 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Lakeland, or near Cordova. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Millington, Cordova, Memphis, Lakeland, Arlington, Eads, Ellendale, Piperton, Gallaway, Braden, Elmore Park, Brunswick, Lenow, Fisherville, Elba, Canadaville, and Kirk. This includes Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 13 and 32.
