A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm... At 327 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over northern Merritt Island. The thunderstorm was nearly stationary or drifting slowly westward.
