At 209 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms over Bertha, or 30 miles northeast of Alexandria, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Hewitt, Bertha, Eagle Bend, Clarissa, Browerville and Staples.
