At 744 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles southwest of Bonny Reservoir to 9 miles southwest of Stratton. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Mesonet. A weather station in Stratton recorded a 45 mph wind gust at 735pm. Winds may increase with outflow ahead of storms. Gusty winds may occur before any rainfall. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Bethune around 750 PM MDT. Burlington around 755 PM MDT. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 419 and 450. Highway 385 between mile markers 172 and 201.
