* Until 1100 PM EDT.
* At 933 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 12 nm northeast of Essex Village to New London
Harbor to near Plum Island to near Shelter Island Sound, moving
east at 40 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high
winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher
waves.
