At 345 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Gum Spring, or 8 miles east of Hadensville, moving north at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and frequent lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Louisa and northwestern Hanover Counties, including the following locations... Orchid, Dabneys, Pendleton, Fredericks Hall, Locust Creek, Mabelton, Apple Grove, and Cuckoo.
