At 305 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles northeast of Pinehurst to near Southern Pines to near Aberdeen. Movement was east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Southern Pines, Fort Bragg, Aberdeen, Whispering Pines, Pinebluff, Vass, Cameron, Olivia, Pineview, and Ashley Heights.
