At 642 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near High Point, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Thomasville, Kernersville, Stokesdale, Walkertown, Oak Hollow Marina, Belews Creek and Welcome. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 101 and 103. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 195 and 210. Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 56 and 68.
