At 638 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms 7 miles east of Cottonwood Meadows Campground, or 9 miles northwest of Lakeview, moving northwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Moss Pass Trailhead and Cottonwood Meadows Campground.
