Rails to a better life

Amdo is a small county in northern Xizang Autonomous Region with just around 40,000 people. Since the Qinghai-Xizang railway opened in 2006, it has reshaped lives across the plateau, including this small county. In this episode of Beyond the Tracks, we travel to one of the world's highest-altitude passenger railway stations and talk to residents and railway staff, to understand how the "sky road" has been changing people's lives on the plateau.
