Northeastern Ocean County in southern New Jersey... * Until 345 PM EDT. * At 1144 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. With high tide coming up, flooding impacts may be worse near the coast. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
