At 833 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Rosepine to near Glenmora to near Deville. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Alexandria, Pineville, De Ridder, Oakdale, Marksville, Bunkie, Simmesport, Rosepine, Glenmora, Moreauville, Cheneyville, Elizabeth, Turkey Creek, Sugartown, Hineston, Mittie, Bordelonville, Fort Polk, Alexandria International Airport, and Effie. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 42 and 92.
