Central Cherokee County in northeastern Texas... * Until 915 PM CDT. * At 814 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles south of Maydelle, or 11 miles southwest of Rusk, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected.
