* AFFECTED AREA...Lower Kobuk Valley. * TIMING...From 10 AM AKDT Wednesday through Wednesday evening. * THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE INDEX...Isolated to Scattered. * WINDS...West 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. * HUMIDITY...As low as 42 percent. * TEMPERATURES...Highs in the upper 70s. Lows in the upper 40s. * IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are possible due to scattered thunderstorms. Thunderstorms will come with frequent lightning and outflow boundaries. Any lightning can cause new ignitions since the fuels are dry and burnable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Westerly sea breezes Wednesday afternoon will likely limit thunderstorm potential along the coast, with more concern further east into the upper Kobuk.
