Public grief as Karbala receives remains of martyred Leader’s family for final farewell

Tehran, IRNA – The remains of family members of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, were transferred from Najaf to the holy city of Karbala on Wednesday, where they were taken to the shrines of Imam Hussein and Hazrat Abbas for a final farewell amid large gatherings of mourners.
