A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm... At 641 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Topsail Beach, or over Topsail Tire Reef. The thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
