The areas affected include... Nearshore and Open Waters from Whitehall to Manistee MI... At 607 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and frequent cloud to water lightning. These thunderstorms were located 15 nm east of Sheboygan, moving east at 25 knots and are expected to affect the open waters west of the Sable Points starting around 630 PM EDT. The nearshore waters by the Sable Points are expected to experience these storms as well, most likely after 700 PM EDT.
