Big Sioux River near Florence affecting Grant County. .For sites with a river forecast, the forecast includes precipitation through the next 24 hours. Any future precipitation could affect the forecasts. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Big Sioux River near Florence. * WHEN...From this evening until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 8.5 feet, water reaches the bottom of the bridge 1 mile east and 1 1/2 mile north of the gauge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 8.0 feet. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
