...The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in Iowa... Upper Iowa River at Bluffton affecting Winneshiek County. Additional river and weather information is available at www.weather.gov/lacrosse. The next statement will be issued late tonight by 130 AM CDT. * WHAT...Flooding is possible. * WHERE...Upper Iowa River at Bluffton. * WHEN...From late tonight to Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, River is significantly outside of its banks impacting both Bluffton Canoe Landings. Campgrounds along the river in Bluffton are underwater. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 7.1 feet. - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached just after midnight tonight, at which point the river would begin to fall. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
