A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Lake Maurepas... At 232 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located near Lake Maurepas. The cluster of thunderstorms was drifting northward at 5 knots.
