At 640 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Simonton Lake, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Elkhart, Simonton Lake, Dunlap, Middlebury, Bristol, White Pigeon, Union, Mottville, and Shavehead Lake. This includes Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 89 and 110.
