Any future precipitation could affect the forecasts. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Big Sioux River near Castlewood. * WHEN...From this afternoon to late tonight. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, water overtops the culvert on 184th Street and significant agricultural flooding begins north of Castlewood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:45 PM CDT Thursday was 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this evening and continue falling to 5.6 feet early Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
