James River from Jamestown to the James River Bridge... * Until 1000 PM EDT. * At 927 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Burwell Bay, moving east at 30 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Hampton River Inlet, James River Bridge, Hampton Flats, Monitor Merrimack Bridge Tunnel, Willoughby Bay, Burwell Bay, Sewells Point, and Dominion Pier.
